Real Robot Factory Reset

The factory-reset image restores a PhysiCar robot's SD card to a clean, original state — useful when a robot is misconfigured or you're handing it to a new student.

The official factory-reset image isn't published yet. This page will host the download when it's ready.

The image is provided under the PhysiCar Community License 1.0 for installation on genuine PhysiCar robots.

What you'll need

• A microSD card, 64 GB or larger.
• Raspberry Pi Imager to write the image.

How it will work (overview)

1. Download the factory-reset image (here, once available).
2. Use Raspberry Pi Imager to write it to the 64 GB+ SD card.
3. Insert the SD card into the robot and power on.
